A prominent Australian Airport sought assistance in establishing a temporary, public-facing space where individuals could directly experience the impact of aircraft noise on local communities, necessitating a collaborative approach to create an immersive and educational environment.
Responsibility
Collaborated with acousticians to design and develop a web-based interactive tool that enabled users to explore and compare various aircraft noise scenarios through immersive soundscapes.
Outcome
The installation of the community consultation space was successfully established, providing a unique opportunity for local residents to directly experience and understand the impact of aircraft noise on their communities, and provide feedback for any concerns.
